EURO CAR PARTS STRIKE NEW FLEET DEAL

Euro Car Parts (ECP), the UK’s leading aftermarket parts supplier has recently secured a brand new fleet of Scania vehicles. The vehicles are the new Scania P-Series range that boast a more ergonomic cab, excellent fuel economy, increased reliability with more distinctive looks recently publicised as “Truck of the year 2010”. ECP have added 33 rigid box vehicles with tail lifts and four Tractor Units all supplied on a five year deal with full repair and maintenance inclusive of the vehicles tail lifts system and tyres. The Scania dealer network now cater for Tail Lift equipment with a UK network of mobile technicians and so provide a complete solution to the vehicle and ancillary equipment. The vehicle maintenance will be performed at the central distribution hub for ECP’s 400,000 sq ft National Distribution Centre (NDC). This will reduce downtime and traveling costs. The NDC is now delivering to the eight regional hubs, and then into branches, more delivery vehicles equals more deliveries into customers.
