FAI TARGETS NEW MARKETS AT AUTOMECHANIKA
A strong show in prospect in Germany
Leading UK component manufacturer and distributor, FAI Automotive PLC is anticipating its strongest showing yet at the upcoming Automechanika. 2010’s show will see another major presence from the company as it seeks to promote its expanding range of products to markets across Europe and beyond. The 2008 Automechanika proved to be a successful one for FAI and since then it has further strengthened its export push. FAI now sells its products to more than fifty countries worldwide and has recently further expanded its export department, with the addition of more staff and a dedicated sales manager for Eastern Europe - Nenad Stamenkovic - who is based in Budapest. FAI comes to Frankfurt with enlarged ranges in many of its FAI Auto Parts product categories, as well as an expanded offer in Lucas Glow Plugs and Goodyear belts and hoses. Of particular note are the latest additions to the Valvetrain, Gasket and Steering & Suspension ranges, all of which have new publications that reflect the range development. The recently published FAI Auto Parts Valvetrain Catalogue has almost 450 new parts, which add around two and a half thousand new applications to FAI’s already extensive coverage in this sector of the market. The supplement to FAI’s existing Steering & Suspension catalogue adds 250 new parts to FAi’s comprehensive range, bringing the total of part numbers to more than 4000. The company is particularly proud of its coverage of Korean models, as well as being first to market with components for several of the latest cars from Ford, Peugeot and Audi. Gaskets has always been a key core product range for FAI and the latest catalogue details eleven hundred new part numbers, covering well in excess of two thousand new vehicle applications. The company’s huge range and FAI’s investment in the latest manufacturing technology for gaskets, helps ensure that it continues to be a leader in the gasket sector.
