GEN-3GLASSCOAT, the award winning paint protection system from Paintseal Europe (PSE), is proud to be supporting the “UK Worker of the Year 2013” competition, in association with Dickies and Suzuki, to find Britain's top workers and ultimately the “UK Worker of the Year”. The winner will have the choice of a motorbike or car from Suzuki.

GEN-3GLASSCOAT is championing this award through dealerships and vehicle bodyshops. Putting yourself forward or alternatively by recommending someone you know, who deserves to be rewarded for the excellent work they do. It could not be easier. UKWOTY is now in it's fourth year.  The competition seeks to recognise and reward excellence in the British workforce. The event is promoted and hosted by TV presenter and journalist Quentin Willson, who writes in the Sunday Mirror, and who was one of the original presenters on BBC's Top Gear.

Last year, Di Mayze, a Nottingham-based entrepreneur, was crowned “UK Worker of the Year” and on March 1st this year she received the keys to her brand new SEAT Altea. Di wowed the judges with her passion and drive for her business, becoming the competitions’ third winner, at the 2012 Gala event.

“This competition has changed my life and the car will help me so much with my work and business in the future. The journey has been brilliant and I’ve met so many fantastic people during my time in the competition. I’m already looking forward to being a part of UK Worker of the Year 2013. I would urge anyone who hears about the competition to have a go at entering or to nominate someone. It costs nothing except a few minutes of time and those few minutes could prove to be incredibly worthwhile,” says Di.

“UK Worker of the Year” is completely free to enter and is open to anyone who works in the UK aged 17 or over.

The 2013 Grand Finale, where the WOTY winner will be announced, is on the 18th October 2013, at the Millennium Madejski Hotel Reading. As with the previous three awards nights, the evening will be themed, and Dickies is promising something very special on the evening  whilst keeping events in line with the company traditions and the ethos of the competition.
