Henry Welland Sales Director of Sovereign Rotating Machines Retires after 45 years Henry has decided after 45 years of working within the Automotive Aftermarket its time to take a well earned rest. Throughout his career Henry has become a highly respected figure in the industry. One of the founders of Sovereign, previously Sales and Marketing Director for Autostart where he was instrumental in the growth and success of that business up until it was sold in 1997. From 1977 to 1986 Henry was Sales Director for Autolek, a remanufacturer of rotating electrics and a Bosch distributor. His early experience included roles at Power Diesel, a Lucas and Bosch main agent, where he was Sales Manager from 1969 to 1976 before that became PG Tyreres, a Lucas main agent. Henry has seen many changes within the Aftermarket and built great friendships over the years and he would like to thank you all for your support and orders off course. Father to Richard and business partner to Garry and John we have worked as a team for many years. During our time we have seen our fair share of challenges but have always remained as a strong team with the support of our friends, family and business colleagues, dedicated to the success of the business. On behalf of the directors and staff at Sovereign we would like to thank Henry for his charismatic approach to business and his dedication in being a real asset to the company. Henry will be missed by Customers, Staff and the industry in general but we wish him well in his retirement and trust his good health and desire to travel continues for years to come. Cheers Henry (DAD) you will always be remembered for your part in making Sovereign the business we are today. Henry will officially retire on the 29th October 2010 but will remain a director and board member. Kevin Sharp our UK Sales Manager, who has been with Sovereign for 5 years will be passed the title Sales Director from the 1st November 2010.
