NEW WOOD AUTO AIRCON CATALOGUE

Latest Addition To The Catalogue Programme Wood Auto, a leading auto-electrical specialist since 1929, added a comprehensive range of air conditioning compressors to its expanding product portfolio in spring 2010 and has now backed this up with a new catalogue to join its growing range of quality publications. Entitled ‘Wood Auto AC Compressors 2010/11’ the new volume consists of more than 250 pages and contains details of the range, which includes 1,069 application references that cater for in excess of 95% of both the UK’s car and commercial vehicle parc. Graham Heywood, managing director for Wood Auto said: “As air conditioning was a new area for us, it was particularly important for us to support the range with a comprehensive reference tool, which makes finding the right compressor a straight forward and easy process for our customers. “Cataloguing is an ongoing and evolutionary undertaking, but we are pleased with this first edition which includes practical fitting notices, a vehicle application guide and cross reference information. However, the bulk of the publication features detailed information on each individual compressor, which includes the voltage, oil specification and volume, plus the pulley size and designation, as well as a picture of the unit to assist final identification. “Since the introduction of the compressor range in the spring, we have been impressed with the level of interest from both existing customers and those who have not purchased anything from us before. We were convinced that a range of compressors, sold on an outright purchase basis like our rotating programme, was an obvious addition to bring to the product portfolio.
