On Saturday 29th June 2013 over 200 outstanding vintage and classic cars and motorcycles will set out from Ascot Racecourse on a 20 mile Rally Tour via beautiful Windsor Great Park en route to Broomhall Recreation Ground, Sunningdale. There they will be displayed as a focal point for the Lynwood Summer Fete starting at 12.30 pm.

Lynwood Care Centre, in nearby Sunninghill is owned and operated by BEN, the automotive industry charity, organisers of this annual event. All monies raised will fund BEN’s national operation which supports present and past motor industry employees and their dependents in times of need. The Fete will be opened by Mike Brewer, TV presenter, best known for the motoring programme ‘Wheeler Dealers’.

Come along for a closer look at the magnificent display of vintage vehicles or just enjoy the many attractions, you will find something for the whole family. This includes music by the Soundblast Street Band, a Birds of Prey flying display, an ‘Open’ Dog Show, BBQ and Carvery, miniature train rides, temptations aplenty amongst the vast array of stalls and, of course, a Children’s corner.

Nigel Howard, Fete Committee Chairman said, “We are expecting a record number of visitors at the fete, BEN’s biggest summer event of the year and, with so much to see and do, it will feel like a giant party and a really enjoyable day out.”
