Anna Bettis, 32, Runner Up in this year’s UK Worker of the Year competition, is so proud of her well-deserved place in the nationwide competition that she has put the logo on her van.

UK Worker of the Year sponsored by Dickies in association with SEAT was in its third year of looking to recognise, reward and promote excellence in the British workforce and the word spread wider than ever before.

In a gala awards finale, at Marlow’s Crowne Plaza hotel held on November 2nd, Anna who was shortlisted to the final six from over 3,000 entries was presented the award and a prize package that includes the choice of holiday up to the value of £1,500.

Anna and her husband Carl own their own painting & decorating company Onevine and it was Carl that nominated Anna. Anna believes that having great customer relations is vital to ensure that their clients are confident and trust the couple working in their home.

“The whole competition has been absolutely unbelievable,” said Anna.

“It has helped me gain confidence and hopefully going forward it will help our clients to feel confident in our business and work ethic and maybe gain more business.”

Anna and her husband Carl will be taking a break from the world of painting and decorating in January next year as they enjoy a trip to Mexico, courtesy of her runners up holiday vouchers.
