SUPPORT DEVELOPMENTS AT TECDOC

Bespoke Technical Back-up for UK and Eire Europe’s leading parts information data provider TecDoc has announced the appointment of Jason Meade as the technical support manager for TecDoc UK and Eire. Jason has been associated with TecDoc by providing a general technical support function for the last three years. However, with the dramatic increase in the number of suppliers adding their brands to the TecDoc electronic parts catalogue and a substantial increase in users licensing the CATALOG system, a full-time appointment has become a necessity. Shaun Greasley, TecDoc’s commercial director for UK and Eire said: “With the imminent introduction of the new Phoenix data management system, which fundamentally changes the way suppliers update their parts cataloguing data into TecDoc, UK and Eire based suppliers will find a local market-specific technical support invaluable. “TecDoc customers will now have a specific technical support number for both of our home markets. Through these dedicated lines, our customers will find all the support they need to get the most out of the TecDoc system.” Not only does the appointment provide TecDoc’s UK and Eire customers with a home-based technical support, the role also brings benefits to TecDoc’s technical centre in Cologne. Having a local market contact removes any potential language problems that could occur when communication is needed with TecDoc HQ in Germany.
