Aftermarket parts distributor Universal Automotive has reported that the number of motor factors - and their independent garage customers - turning to UFI Filters for their filtration needs is growing rapidly as they experience the benefits that come from supplying and fitting OE parts at competitive prices. UFI’s extensive knowledge of automotive filtration has allowed it to develop a number of patented filtration systems and the unique H20 and ONE series filters are examples of bespoke filter solutions. Among UFI’s recent manufacturer approvals is the complete oil module for the Vauxhall/Opel 2.0 CDTi diesel engine fitted in the Insignia and the fuel filter used for the new 1.6 common rail diesel engine due to replace the 1.9 engine in the Audi A3. The Ford KA II also benefits from UFI’s vast experience with both the oil and diesel fuel filters being supplied by the filtration specialists. The latest OE addition is the BMW X1, which is now fitted with UFI fuel filters. All of the diesel variants: 1.8d, 2.0d, 2.3d, xDrive and sDrive are fitted with UFI’s 31.857.01 fuel filter, which features filtering efficiency in compliance with ISO TR 13353 and a bursting strength in excess of 15 bar. Universal Automotive’s sales director, John Goodland said: “We are the primary distributor for UFI and our customers are trying and liking both the great quality and the competitive pricing of the products. These factors have contributed to our best-ever month for UFI.” For more information please contact the Universal Automotive sales team on 01562 512512 or visit www.universalautomotive.com ENDS
