Chimney project gets Oscar nominated – third year in a row
The motion picture Her, directed and written by Spike Jonze, color graded and conformed by Chimney, has been nominated for: Best Picture, Original Screenplay, Music - Original score, Music - Original Song and Production Design. The Chimney team that worked on the project primarily consists of Colorist Mats Holmgren, DI Supervisor Jonas Jangvad and DI Producer Anneli Oscarsson.
The film features Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams, Scarlett Johansson and follows a lonely writer (Phoenix) that develops an unlikely relationship with his newly-purchased operating system that's designed to meet his every need.

The Her project was a great cooperation for Chimney, especially with the very talented cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema who Chimney has previously worked with on projects like Let the right one in, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Call Girl. Fredrik Zander is very happy to see such appreciation for the film: “I kept my fingers crossed for this nomination, especially since it has received such nice reviews and praises from around the world. The 86th Academy Awards will be held on 2nd March.
