Chimney project wins an Oscar – second year in a row

The motion picture Her, directed and written by Spike Jonze, color graded and conformed by Chimney, has won an Oscar for Original Screenplay.

“Last year Searching for Sugarman won. It is amazing to see that one of our projects wins again”. says Fredrik Zander, Head of Art & Entertainment at Chimney.

Her was a great project for Chimney, especially the cooperation between Mats Holmgren that graded the film and the very talented cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema. Her has won and been nominated for several prestigious awards, both in the United States and in Europe. Especially the film’s screenplay has been praised. Fredrik Zander is very happy about the Oscar: “I kept my fingers crossed during last nights gala and I hope this positive trend continues for Chimney projects more years to come!”
