A comprehensive new cleaning and hygiene range is being launched in the UK by established laundry cleaning specialist Christeyns.

The new range is aimed at keeping the catering industry clean, safe, healthy and legal, as well as offering a first-class support package.

Specially developed for safe, effective cleaning of all food preparation, bar, housekeeping and laundry applications, this is a premium range of industry-specific products. All are combined with an extensive support package from Christeyns that offers real value to end-users and distributors.

Christeyns is one of Europe’s leading producers of laundry cleaning products, with a significant market share in the UK and brand leadership in Belgium and France. In the institutional marketplace, Christeyns is already well-established in Continental Europe, so this new UK range comes with the benefit of 60 years of thoroughly tested experience behind it. The range includes five product categories: kitchencare, barcare, handcare, roomcare and fabricare.

Christeyns business manager Steve Myles is responsible for the new cleaning and hygiene range: “Customers want safe, effective cleaning products and a simple hygiene support package. This innovative range is a comprehensive cleaning system, ideal for the busy caterer, giving them an excellent selection of trusted cleaning and hygiene products, from dishwashing through to floor cleaning. The technical support package we are providing with it is second to none. It includes many unique features within the manuals, wall charts, scheduling, training and service and with an eye on the importance of cost represents incredible value for money, too.”

Products are simply named, colour- and numerical-coded for quick identification, and with straightforward pictorial application and safety information. For additional hygiene and safety, scannable QR codes on product labelling provide rapid cleaning and hygiene web-based information and first-aid advice.

Christeyns has extensive testing laboratories combined with production facilities in Bradford and Europe, all of which conform to ISO 14001 and ISO 9001. Compliance with current legislation is vitally important in today’s competitive marketplace, and buyers can be reassured that Christeyns is determined to be the best in its sector. The company’s slogan is ‘passionate about cleaning’, as Steve Myles confirms: “We will help with coaching and advice on sales and service as well as hygiene and safety training programmes. We don’t just sell you the products; we’re with you every step of the way.”

Christeyns’ green credentials with ISO 14001 accreditation also extend to an Ecolabel product range being available. All product development exceeds environmental industry standards, being perborate and NTA-free. Phosphate-free alternatives are also available.

The comprehensive new range of Christeyns products additionally enables the end-user or distributor to offer bespoke and private, own-label cleaning and hygiene ranges as alternatives to a Christeyns branded range.
