ChromoGenics’ dynamic glass ConverLight® protects the university library from the sun - even when Gothenburg’s windy weather hits the building
Akademiska Hus uses ChromoGenics AB (publ) dynamic glass ConverLight® to provide Gothenburg’s University Library with a reliable, energy and cost efficient solar control solution. ConverLight® dynamic glass has been improving the indoor climate and energy efficiency since 2016, even when forceful winds hit the building. Gothenburg University Library is owned and managed by Akademiska Hus. Akademiska Hus owns, develops and manages real estate for universities and colleges with a main focus on education and research activities. The company is wholly owned by the Swedish state and aims to be at the forefront of sustainability activities.
"This is a so-called retro-fit project where ConverLight® dynamic glass is mounted on an existing building to improve the indoor climate and energy efficiency in a sustainable way.
