ChromoGenics has been awarded a grant of SEK 1.2 million from Vinnova
ChromoGenics AB (publ) has been awarded a grant of SEK 1.2 million from Vinnova for co-financing of an innovation project for improved performance for electrochromic foils.
ChromoGenics has received a grant from Vinnova for co-financing of the "Improved Performance for Electrochromic Foils" innovation project that will take ConverLight® to the next step. The project is scheduled to start in June 2018 and end in December 2019.
Vinnova is Sweden's Innovation Authority with the task of contributing to sustainable growth by improving the opportunities for innovation. This is done primarily by providing funds to innovation projects and research needed to develop new solutions. Vinnova also invests long-term in strong research and innovation environments.
Vinnova's motivation for the decision to ChromoGenics’ innovation project is:
- The project is based on an innovation with great potential, furthermore, the reasoning for future growth potential is credible.
- The project plan is well-developed and describes a clearly focused project with good feasibility.
- The company's resources in the form of past experience, skills and equipment provide good conditions for achieving set goals.
