ChromoGenics has started a development project with a large property owner

ChromoGenics has started a collaboration with a large Swedish property owner regarding a development project. The project's goal is to be able to wirelessly control dynamic glass directly with the property owner's own control system, which simplifies installation, operation and maintenance.

The trend is towards property owners including more and more technology and digital solutions in their properties in order to obtain better and more secure monitoring of operation and maintenance. This can lead to increased complexity as property owners often use many systems from several different suppliers. To reduce this complexity and have more efficient facilities, the property owner aims to simplify and reduce the number of control systems in his properties. ChromoGenics has previously developed wireless control systems with autonomous control and power supply to meet the need for simpler and less complex systems.

Therefore, ChromoGenics and the property owner already see great common benefit in the ability to wirelessly control dynamic glass directly from the property owner's system, which in addition to simplified operation and maintenance also provides easier installation of dynamic glass in the properties. The project started in October 2021 and is expected to last until June 2022.

- '' The collaboration with the property owner is positive for both parties and in the long run for the entire construction industry. By combining the wireless control with ConverLight® Dynamic, the property owner and our other customers will in the future be offered access to more efficient and smarter control systems. Our solution also leads to the possibility of reducing the climate impact and improving the indoor environment in buildings '', says Fredrik Fränding, CEO of ChromoGenics.
