ChromoGenics receives an order corresponding to SEK 23.3 million from the Norwegian construction company Betonmast (AS) with Avantor (AS) as the client. The order applies to an environmentally certified building under construction at Gulhaugtorg 5 in Oslo.

ChromoGenics has previously informed about the final negotiation of this order and now the agreement has been signed. The order includes the installation of windows in an environmentally certified property that is under construction in Oslo. The value is initially SEK 23.3 million and can be increased to SEK 25.0 million through additional orders. The project is part-financed by the Norwegian innovation authority Enova under the program «New technology in the construction industry». Enova reports to the Ministry of Climate and the Environment in Norway.

“Our goal has been to realize an energy-efficient façade that utilizes the architecture of the project with a focus on the indoor climate and environment. ChromoGenics’ solutions were crucial to achieving the goals of the project '', says Project Manager Kjetil Hafredal Betonmast Oslo.

The order includes ConverLight® Dynamic and ConverLight® Paragon ECO. With these installed, effective protection against solar heat radiation, a very high insulation value and improved noise reduction are obtained. ChromoGenics’ products are designed to reduce energy use while improving the indoor climate. The electrochromic foil blocks up to 90 percent of the sun's energy while letting through daylight and creating a comfortable indoor environment.

"We are just in the phase of moving from development companies to industrial companies and this order confirms ChromoGenics as a qualified supplier of windows for energy-efficient and environmentally certified houses," says Leif Ljungqvist, CEO of ChromoGenics.

The order connects well with ChromoGenics ongoing tuning of the production facility in Uppsala. The delivery is planned to be completed in 2021.
