Staff of the Church of Scientology National Affairs Office shared the “secret” of happiness with members of the Indonesian community in Washington, D.C.

Bari Berger, Public Affairs Director of the Church of Scientology National Affairs Office, introduced The Way to Happiness workshop at the Indonesian Embassy to the United States in Washington, D.C., April 6, 2013.

Head of the Consular Division for the Indonesian Embassy to the United States in Washington, D.C., hosted a seminar April 6 on The Way to Happiness—the nonreligious moral code based entirely on common sense. The workshop, conducted by Church of Scientology National Affairs Office staff, was held at the embassy and attended by Indonesians living in the D.C. area.

Bari Berger, Public Affairs Director of the National Affairs Office, welcomed the attendees to the workshop and introduced them to The Way to Happiness written by author, humanitarian and Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard.

To enable anyone to grasp the precepts and put them to use in their lives, an interactive curriculum was created using the chapters of The Way to Happiness, including public service announcements that introduce each of the precepts and a feature-length book-on-film comprising the entire text of the book.

National Affairs Office Social Reform Director Jesse Morrow led the workshop and covered three of the book’s precepts: “Be Industrious,” “Be Competent” and “Flourish and Prosper.”

The workshop emphasized the practical and useful, with participants encouraged to find and share examples of how use or neglect of each of the precepts affect their own or others’ lives.

The Church of Scientology and its members are proud to share the tools for happier living contained in The Way to Happiness with all who also have the goal of a better world. For more information, visithttp://www.scientology.org/thewaytohappiness.
