Karlovy Vary Czech Youth Learn The Key To Happiness
Volunteers from the Church of Scientology Mission of Prague conduct character education lectures based on The Way to Happiness.
More than 100 young men and women attending a business academy and language school in the West Bohemia city of Karlovy Vary in the Czech Republic are learning what may be the very "secret" to happiness through lectures on The Way to Happiness, a nonreligious moral code based entirely on common sense.
The second in a series of three lectures was held April 3, introducing students to precepts that will help them as they begin their careers–such basic concepts as "Set a Good Example," "Be Worthy of Trust" and "Be Industrious."
With the final lecture scheduled for June, all three have been presented by volunteers from the Church of Scientology Mission of Prague. The lectures are based on The Way to Happiness Educator’s Resource Kit, an easy–to–use curriculum that engages students, inviting them to look at their own lives and the lives of their families and friends and how they could be improved through application of common sense principles outlined in The Way to Happiness.
The Way to Happiness was written in 1981 by author, humanitarian and Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard. Immensely popular since its first publication, it is now available in 109 languages and more than 100 million copies of have been distributed in 205 countries and territories.
