New Brochure On Applied Scholastics Released In Brussels
Overcoming the barriers to study was the focus of an open house and conference April 23, 2013, at the Brussels Branch of the Churches of Scientology of Europe.
The Brussels Branch of the Churches of Scientology of Europe brought together students, educators and representatives of NGOs April 23, 2013, to introduce them to Applied Scholastics International and Study Technology, a technology developed by author, humanitarian and Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard that provides the student with study skills with which to learn any subject. Applied Scholastics International is a social betterment organization that makes this technology broadly available.
Church public affairs director Agnes Bron Singla welcomed those attending and presented an overview of Study Technology and Applied Scholastics.
The executive director of Applied Scholastics France and Belgium, described the history of the program and its purpose:
Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard isolated the precise causes for the success or failure of any activity or study and an actual technology of learning with which to master any subject. These educational breakthroughs are collectively known as Study Technology.
In 1972, Applied Scholastics was founded in Los Angeles. It has grown into an international network of schools, programs and tutoring groups.
She demonstrated some of the basic principles of Study Technology prompting many attendees to voice realizations about past study problems and how they can use this technology in their work.
Applied Scholastics International is supported by the Church of Scientology and by Scientologists who are dedicated to raising educational standards throughout the world.
The Church of Scientology has published a new brochure Scientology: How We Help—Applied Scholastics, Achieving Literacy and Education, one of a series of publications presented to meet requests for more information about the Scientology religion and its support of global humanitarian initiatives and social betterment programs.
