Cinis Fertilizer receives notice to start construction in Örnsköldsvik
Cinis Fertilizer has received permission to start construction of its production facility on the property Bredånger 2:165 in Köpmanholmen in Örnsköldsvik municipality.
Cinis Fertilizer is planning the construction of its first production facility for fossil-free and circular potassium sulfate in Köpmanholmen, south of Örnsköldsvik. The notice to start construction means that the company may begin earthworks on the property with associated piling and sheeting for the new construction of an industrial and warehouse building.
- We are very happy to have received the permit to start construction in Örnsköldsvik. It is an important milestone which means that we can start ground work and gradually start building the first production facility for fossil-free potassium sulfate, says Jakob Liedberg, founder and CEO of Cinis Fertilizer.
The next milestone in connection with the construction of Cinis Fertilizer’s first production facility is the main hearing in the case regarding Cinis Fertilizer's environmental permit application. The Land and Environment Court announced earlier in November that the main hearing is planned for March 2023.
