Conotoxia signed a strategic agreement with a popular cinema chain Helios. The cooperation enables the use of a new payment method to buy tickets online. Conotoxia Pay is an online payment system designed by the fintech.

The cooperation of fintech and Helios enables purchasing tickets in any of 28 available currencies. Thanks to Conotoxia Pay, after reopening cinemas in Poland, fintech customers will be able to pay for their tickets quickly and safely, using the funds accumulated on the portal.
This is another step in the development of fintech’s payment solution dedicated to e-commerce. In the first half of 2020, Conotoxia Pay recorded a nearly 300% turnover increase compared to the second half of 2019.

"The dynamic growth of the e-commerce industry requires solutions tailored to the needs on a global scale. Conotoxia Pay with the possibility of paying in as many as 28 currencies, should satisfy even the most demanding user. The comprehensive and modern tool for managing online payments is convenient for both the service provider and end-user. Let's hope that soon Helios fans will be able to find out about it as well, when the cinemas will be open again," says Piotr Kicinski, Vice-President of Cinkciarz.pl, part of Conotoxia Holding.

Helios is the largest cinema chain in Poland in terms of the number of venues. Currently, it runs 50 cinemas with a total of 281 screens. Helios focuses on the state-of-the-art technology and the viewers' comfort while watching films and purchasing tickets online – now also using Conotoxia's solution.

Conotoxia Pay service is provided by Conotoxia Sp. z o.o., with Polish Financial Supervision Authority licence no. 30/2015.
