After the implementation of the PSD II directive, API and technical documentation are now available at Conotoxia.com. They can be used by all Third Party Providers with qualified certification.

The PSD II directive regulates access to customer data in the European Union. The regulations, which define the conditions for the operations of payment institutions, allow customers to freely choose their financial service provider. In turn, banks and non-banking payment institutions are obliged to make customers' payment accounts available online via an API (Application Programming Interface) or another type of interface.

Conotoxia Sp. z o.o., which provides services at Conotoxia.com, reacting to the requirements, has just published its own API. The interface structure is based on NextGenPSD2 API. Its implementation enables financial institutions with a TPP certificate, i.e. so-called third parties, access to the payment accounts of the portal's customers. The institutions will be able to initiate new payments and download the history and details of operations on the account. Of course, access to these data is only possible with customer consent.

"By sharing API, we enable other institutions to use the solutions created by us in their business. Our API is continuously being developed. The established base of acquired knowledge and documentation will facilitate the integration process with our services," explains Piotr Kicinski, Vice-President of Cinkciarz.pl, a company in the Conotoxia Holding Group.
