Cision Experts to Offer New Insights Into Content Marketing and Social Media Measurement

Heidi Sullivan and K.C. Brown to Speak at October PR Conferences; Free Cision Webinar Will Examine ‘Blogging for Business’

Experts from Cision, the leading provider of cloud-based PR software, services and tools for the marketing and public relations industry, will examine trends, case studies, and best practices in content marketing and social media measurement at major industry events during October.

Heidi Sullivan, Cision’s Vice President, Global Media Research, and K.C. Brown, General Manager of Cision Global Analysts, will speak at the PRSA 2012 International Conference in San Francisco, October 13-16.

Earlier during October, Sullivan also will participate in the PR NEWS Social Media Measurement Conference in New York and the 2012 Data Content Conference (sponsored by the Software and Information Industry Association/SIIA) in Philadelphia, and co-host a free Cision webinar, “Blogging for Business.”

The PRSA sessions are:

“How ‘Story Marketing’ Can Power Your PR Program,” on Monday, October 15, 2012, from 10 to 11:15 a.m. PDT. Heidi Sullivan will co-lead a workshop with Daniel Lemin of Convince & Convert that explores how story marketing leverages new audience research to extend the reach of PR programs to engage key audiences more directly, immediately and effectively than ever before. “Global Earned Media Measurement of a 2012 Olympic Sponsorship,” Monday, October 15, from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. PDT. K.C. Brown will co-chair a workshop offering insights into monitoring and measuring the impact of event sponsorships and high profile, worldwide media events, such as the Summer Games. “Measure Your Success on Twitter and Tie It to Organizational Goals,” at the PR NEWS Social Media Measurement Conference, Tuesday, October 2, from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. EDT at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, New York. “Blogging for Business,” a free Cision webinar offered on Thursday, October 4, at 1 p.m. CDT. Sullivan and Lisa Larranaga, Cision’s Social Media Manager, will host a half-hour session offering insights that help business bloggers generate compelling content and conversation, and measure their results. They’ll cover tips and tools for success about incorporating multimedia – infographics, video, and photos – into posts; how to best share content and create conversation; search-engine optimization best practices; and more. Register for the free Cision webinar, “Blogging for Business.”

“Analytics for Answers,” at the SIIA’s 2012 Data Content Conference, Wednesday, October 10, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. EDT, at the Hyatt Regency Philadelphia.
