Global event brings together social media elite to offer ideas, trends and best practices

Social Media Week opened registration for its September series, which includes the event, The Next Generation - Content Marketing and the PR Professional hosted by Cision. The first session of the event sold out in less than four hours. Due to the popular demand, Cision has opened a second session that is currently open with limited space.

Both sessions of The Next Generation - Content Marketing and the PR Professional will be led by Cision's SVP of Digital Content Heidi Sullivan, and will focus on trends in content marketing and how they relate to the PR industry today and in the future.

"With social media spearheading the convergence of paid, earned and owned media, there is no better time for PR professionals to hone a new craft and add content marketing to their skillset," Sullivan said. "We are excited to bring tips and best practices to the Social Media Week audience."

Cision's first sold-out session will be held from 1-2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24. The second session will be held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26. Both sessions will be hosted at Cision’s North American Headquarters, 332 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago.

Sign up for the second session now.
