New Cision PR Software Release Provides Enhanced Campaign Analytics and Newsroom Customization Features

Latest upgrade to Cision’s PR software makes it easier to update online newsrooms, embed multimedia files, and access more analytics

CHICAGO, February 4, 2013 – Cision, the leading provider of cloud-based PR software, services and tools for the marketing and public relations industry, today announced several significant enhancements to its award-winning PR software.

The new functionality makes it easier to customize and update a client’s online newsroom, add hosted multimedia files in press releases and stories, and access more analytics such as newsroom page views and unique visitors. The result is a unique capability that gives marketing and PR professionals access to every tool required to distribute their optimized news releases effectively in a single, comprehensive package.

Results tracking has been improved through the addition of more powerful analytics that allow Cision users to gain more visibility into how their press releases are performing, including social shares and click-throughs. They can also compare results against other releases during a defined time period, helping PR professionals and marketers measure the effectiveness of various topics, spot trends and ultimately increase the performance of their programs. In addition to being viewed online, the reports can also be downloaded as PDFs and/or emailed to other interested parties.

One of the challenges PR and marketing professionals face is updating corporate newsrooms with content on a timely basis. The new enhancements to the software make it easy for organizations to customize their online newsrooms to match the look and feel of their corporate websites, which allows content to be posted and available to visitors as soon as it is released while maintaining the integrity of their brands.

The new release also makes it easier to embed multimedia content into their newsrooms and press releases. This feature helps to deliver a more powerful message while improving search results.
