Cision announces its annual list of the top influential social media, internet marketing and SEO blogs based on new social and traditional reach algorithm
Cision, the leading provider of cloud-based PR and marketing software, services and tools, announced its 2013 list of Top 100 Social Media, Internet Marketing & SEO Blogs.
Matt Cutts’ self-titled blog takes first place this year, followed by Seth’s Blog and Search Engine Land.
All blogs on the Top 100 are listed in the Cision media database, which features more than 1.5 million contacts, outlets and opportunities, across all content mediums and industries. Cision’s media database, now with new search functionality, helps users easily locate media professionals and target the right audience.
“We know the key to successful media relations is researching and building relationships with the right contacts,” said Heidi Sullivan, SVP of Digital Content at Cision. “Cision helps users to quickly hone in on contacts’ and outlets’ coverage, social profiles and pitching preferences to ensure their using time and resources wisely.” The Top 100 list was compiled using Cision’s media database and ranked by Cision Digital Reach, a new in-house measurement that calculates reach based on social metrics in conjunction with traditional web metrics.
