Cision’s US subsidiary has today announced a partnership with Critical Mention to integrate the Critical Mention broadcast monitoring service into the CisionPoint platform, replacing Cision’s current broadcast monitoring service. The new broadcast service will be available by late August and will provide US CisionPoint users access to state of the art tools with which they can view, edit and share coverage in national TV channels, major cable outlets and top radio stations.

“The partnership with Critical Mention will further strengthen our US offering for TV and radio monitoring services, providing our customers with near real-time and searchable broadcast content, fully integrated into our award-winning CisionPoint platform. This agreeement is also another step towards implementing our strategy as presented earlier in the year, where we stated that Cision will increasingly reduce fixed costs and inhouse monitor production, and instead focus on integration and data enhancement of monitor content produced by outsourcing partners”, says Hans Gieskes, CEO of the Cision Group.
