Örjan Håkanson elected Chairman, Maria Lilja joins Observer's Board The Annual General Meeting of Observer AB on Monday elected the following Board of Directors for the upcoming financial year: Reelected Board members: Örjan Håkanson, Chairman since 1995. Chairman of Bibliotekstjänst AB. Håkan Bryngelson, Member of the Board since 1998. President of Vasakronan AB. Hans Tson Söderström Member of the Board since 1998. President of Studieförbundet Näringsliv och Samhälle, SNS. Ulf Ivarsson, Member of the Board since 1998. Partner at Nordic Capital. Robert Lundberg, Member of the Board since 1995. President and Chief Executive Officer of Observer AB. Newly elected Board member: Maria Lilja, Vice Chairman of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce. Member of the Boards of Bure Equity AB, Bilia, Cell Network, Poolia, Vasakronan, E Öhman Jr, Intrum Justitia BV and Diageo Plc. Rolf Ekedahl and Sven-Åke Lewin had declined reelection. At the following Board meeting, Örjan Håkansson was appointed Chairman of the Board. The Annual General Meeting also adopted the dividend of SEK 0.45 per share. The record date is May 31, and the dividend is expected to be paid on June 6, 2001.
