Social Journalism: How New Media is Creating Media Anew
How do today’s journalists use social media to communicate with PRs, the public, and each other? How is it changing the way they work, and what are the consequences for the media and traditional ideas of news and information?
Over the past six months, Cision has joined forces with a number of academic partners to answer these questions in Scandinavia, Western Europe and US – and this video presentation will be the first to provide a unified view of the findings across all regions.
Drawing on other academic research and wider media trends, Social Journalism will illustrate the ways in which journalism and PR is changing in the western world – and how the western world itself may be changing as a result.
