Citi Appoints New Investment Banking Heads for the Nordics

We are pleased to announce the appointments of Lars Ingemarsson and Ari Mäkelä as co-Heads of Nordic Investment Banking, both reporting to Manuel Falco, Head of EMEA Corporate and Investment Banking.

Lars, who is based in Stockholm, joined Citi in 2011 from JP Morgan and has 23 years of investment banking experience. Ari will remain in Helsinki and joined Citi in 2011 from Deutsche Bank, he has 23 years of experience in the industry.

They will lead our strong Nordic team, including Nicholas Blach Petersen, Head of Investment Banking in Denmark and Morten Eikebu, Head of Investment Banking in Norway. These new appointments confirm Citi’s focus on leadership in Nordic investment banking and commitment to its Nordic client base by providing a holistic and comprehensive investment banking offering across sectors, regions and products.”
