Weatherite Building Services have recently completed a comprehensive upgrade of the heating facilities at two schools for Worcestershire County Council. In conjunction with Stewart Associates, WBS completed a boiler house heating replacement at Tenbury High School installing replacement boilers, hot water heaters and pumps. The second project at Tenacres School in Redditch called for the replacement of the existing heating system inclusive of supply of free issue fan convectors and the completion of various heating modifications. The projects called for a cost effective, long term energy efficient solution and in order to meet these requirements WBS supplied and installed at the Tenbury project high efficiency boilers and water heaters. WBS also had to ensure that the installation activity caused minimum disruption to the day to day running of the school. “The work carried out has been completed to a very high standard,” says Jeff Widdett of Worcestershire County Council. “WBS have provided a solution that has met both the cost and quality parameters we set at the start of the project.” WBS has over 37 years experience in all aspects of building service including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, commercial kitchen ventilation/extraction, data centre/IT cooling, boiler house refurbishment/replacement and all aspects of M & E services. WBS offers its customers a complete building services solution-from one single source including total project management and full design, installation and commissioning activities. WBS is part of the £40m Weatherite Group, one of the UK’s leading HVAC and Building Services organisations.
