Clas Ohlson opens new store in Levanger, Norway
Clas Ohlson has signed a contract regarding a new store in Magneten kjøpesenter, Levanger, Norway. The retail space will amount to 1,050 square metres. The store’s catchment area comprises approximately 40,000 residents and the store is scheduled to open in June 2014.
In addition, Clas Ohlson will move the store at Maxi Shopping Centre to a larger store in a better location in CC Stadion. The retail space will amount to 1,150 square metres. The store’s catchment area comprises approximately 85,000 residents and the store is scheduled to open in November 2014. The store at Maxi Shopping Centre will operate in parallel and will close during the autumn of 2015.
In the current 2013/14 financial year, Clas Ohlson will establish a total of 10 stores. During the coming 2014/15 financial year, Clas Ohlson plans to establish 10-15 new stores. The number of future store openings contracted amounts to a total of 15 stores. With current 182 stores and 15 contracted stores, Clas Ohlson will have a total of 197 stores, of which 82 in Sweden, 70 in Norway, 32 in Finland, 12 in the UK and one in Dubai.
