Contract signed for a new store in Hudiksvall, Sweden

Clas Ohlson has signed a contract concerning an additional store. The store will be located in the shopping centre, Fyren in the centre of Hudiksvall. Retail space will amount to 700 square metres. The shopping centre has 13 stores. The store´s catchment area comprises approximately 90 000 inhabitants of which primary area 36 000. The store is scheduled to open in March 2009. Accordingly, the scheduled future opening of stores for which contracts have been concluded to date is as follows: Seinäjoki in Finland and Drammen in Norway September 2008, Asker and Jessheim in Norway and Rovaniemi in Finland October 2008, Skövde in Sweden, Espoo and Joensuu in Finland and Kristiansand in Norway November 2008, Croydon/London in England between November 2008 and January 2009, Narvik in Norway December 2008, Motala in Sweden January 2009, Falun in Sweden and Hønefoss in Norway February 2009, Molde in Norway and Hudiksvall in Sweden in March 2009, Nordby/Strömstad in Sweden June 2009, Frölunda and Värnamo in Sweden autumn 2009 and Lillehammer in Norway between autumn 2009 and winter 2010. Clas Ohlson’s objective is to open 20 to 25 new stores during the 2008/2009 financial year. Including the company’s current 88 stores and the 20 stores under contract, Clas Ohlson will have a total of 108 stores, with 52 of them in Sweden, 39 in Norway, 16 in Finland and one in the UK.
