Contract signed for a new store in Sandefjord, Norway

Clas Ohlson has signed a contract regarding a new store in Sandefjord, Norway. The retail space will amount to a total of 1,600 square metres. The store’s catchment area comprises approximately 42,000 residents and the store is scheduled to open in autumn 2014/winter 2015.

Future store establishments that have been contracted to date are: Sogndal, Norway in June 2013; Heiane Shopping Centre in Stord, Norway in June 2013; Norra Backa Shopping area, Borlänge, Sweden in October 2013; Mobilia Shopping Centre, Malmö, Sweden in September 2013; Kaari Shopping Centre, Kannelmäki, Helsingfors, Finland in November 2013; Vimpeln Shopping Centre in Alingsås, Sweden in March 2014; Kungens Kurva in Huddinge, Stockholm, Sweden in March 2014; Barkarby Gate, Stockholm, Sweden in October 2014; Orkdal, Norway in autumn 2014; Mandal, Norway in autumn 2014; Sandefjord, Norway in autumn 2014/winter 2015 and Umeå Syd in Umeå, Sweden in March 2015.

During the 2013/14 financial year Clas Ohlson aim to establish 12-17 new stores. With currently 176 stores and 12 contracted stores, Clas Ohlson will have a total of 188 stores, of which 79 in Sweden, 67 in Norway, 30 in Finland and 12 in the UK.
