Contract signed for store in Sweden

Clas Ohlson has signed a contract concerning an additional new store. The store will be located in Nordby, outside Strömstad, near the border to Norway. Retail space will amount to 1.000 square metres and the store will be located by the shopping centre´s mainentrance. The centre is expected to have 7 million visitors 2010, the number of stores will be about 110. The store’s catchment area comprises 150 000 inhabitants and it is scheduled to open in June 2009. Accordingly, the scheduled future opening of stores for which contracts have been concluded to date is as follows: Seinäjoki in Finland September 2008, Drammen, Asker and Jessheim in Norway and Rovaniemi in Finland October 2008, Kristiansand in Norway November 2008, Skövde in Sweden, Espoo and Joensuu in Finland and Croydon/London in England autumn 2008, Motala in Sweden December 2008, Falun in Sweden and Hønefoss in Norway February 2009, Molde in Norway March 2009, Nordby/Strömstad in Sweden June 2009, Frölunda in Sweden autumn 2009 and Lillehammer in Norway between autumn 2009 and winter 2010. Clas Ohlson’s objective is to open 20 to 25 new stores during the 2008/2009 financial year. Including the company’s current 88 stores and the 17 stores under contract, Clas Ohlson will have a total of 105 stores, with 50 of them in Sweden, 38 in Norway, 16 in Finland and one in the UK.
