Lotta Lyrå elected board member of the Swedish Trade Federation
At the Annual General Meeting of Svensk Handel (the Swedish Trade Federation) on 21 May, Clas Ohlson's President and CEO, Lotta Lyrå, was elected new member of Svensk Handel’s board.
Svensk Handel is an organisation for wholesale and retail companies with more than 10,000 member companies and is the largest member organisation within the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise. Svensk Handel also acts as the employers' party within the industry, signing collective agreements with trade unions.
“These are incredibly exciting times for us working in the retail industry. Consumer behaviour and expectations, along with new technology, is redrawing the map for how we need to work. It poses great challenges, but also great opportunities for those who can offer true accessibility and convenience. I am grateful for the confidence that the Annual General Meeting of Svensk Handel has shown me by electing me to the board and contributing to our joint transformational journey,” says Lotta Lyrå, President and CEO of Clas Ohlson.
