Sales rose 8% in September

Sales rose 8% in September to SEK 397.8 M (369.8). Compared with the same month in 2007, 16 stores have been added and the total number of stores on 30 September 2008 was 90. Of the total sales during the month, stores accounted for SEK 386.6 M (357.8) and mail order/Internet for SEK 11.2 M (12.0) Sales by country were distributed as follows: Sweden: SEK 211.4 M (208.6) + 1% Norway: SEK 154.5 M (134.8) + 15% Finland: SEK 31.9 M (26.4) + 21% Total sales during the five month period (May 2008 – September 2008) increased by 9% to SEK 1 918.7 M (1 763.8). The Q2-report for 2008/09 will be published on 5 December 2008 Clas Ohlson´s first store in the UK, located in Croydon London, is scheduled to be opened at the end of November 2008.
