The election committee of Clean Industry Solutions Holding Europe AB (CISH) nominates Finn Johnsson, former chairman of AB Volvo, as new chairman, while former chairman of CISH, Olle Olsson, is proposed to become a board member and Joao Gomes to leave the board.

CISH is listed on the Spotlight Stock Market and owns two German innovative companies – Industrial Solar GmbH, a world leader in solar energy solutions for industries, and SolarSpring, a company offering cutting edge membrane distillation technology for wastewater recycling and water purification.

The Annual general meeting in Clean Industry Solutions Holding Europe AB (CISH) will be online on the 20th of May. The election committee proposes Finn Johnsson to take over as chairman of the board.

Finn Johnsson holds a degree from the Stockholm School of Economics and since his graduation held different positions in the Swedish farmer association and later in Swedish Match. His first position as Managing Director/CEO was for Arenco AB. Over the years, Finn worked as Managing Director/CEO in companies like Tarkett AB, Stora Enso, Euroc AB, Mölnlycke Health AB and Guinness, and was appointed chairman of various companies such as West Sweden Chamber of Commerce, EFG European Furnoture Group AB, Ovako AB, AB Geveko, Luvata, Nordic Capital, City Airline, Klövern and AB Volvo. Finn will bring a new energy to the board: "I am honored to be proposed to lead the board of Clean Industry Solutions Holding Europe AB. With its two subsidiaries, the company offers very promising technologies and solutions that help greening the industry, which is a topic of utmost importance in the fight against climate change. I would gladly support the board and the company with my experience and knowledge in order to lead it to success. “

Olle Olsson, the former chairman, will remain a board member. "Finn Johnsson has longtime experience in leading boards of international and well-known companies. He is the right person to guide CISH AB through the next period of growth,” Olsson explains.

The election committee has also proposed that Joao Gomes leave the board to keep the number of board members the same.

These changes to the board together with the expected market growth due to the envisaged greening of industry, the combat against climate change and the effects of the Green New Deal, Clean Industry Solutions Holding Europe AB is well-positioned for a dynamic next phase.
