    Clean Motion Starts Zbee Manufacturing in Pune, India

    Clean Motion, a leading Swedish e-mobility company specializing in light electric vehicles for urban traffic, will together with India Accelerator start the manufacturing and sale of their passenger vehicle, Zbee, in India. New Delhi, India – 2024-06-10 India is the world's most populous country and has a strong demand for sustainable transport solutions and innovation. Clean Motion, which already has a presence in India, will now expand its operations through local manufacturing and sales of Zbee.     No need for charging in future electric vehicles.

    The Swedish electric vehicle manufacturer Clean Motion has entered a collaboration with Finnish Valoe Oyj on the integration of highly efficient solar cells in the roofs of the vehicles. "In a large part of the world, this solution will eliminate the need for charging and truly deliver a green revolution!" says Göran Folkesson, CEO of Clean Motion. The collaboration between Valoe Oyj and Clean Motion AB is based on the integration of Valoe's highly efficient IBC cells (Interdigitated Back Contact) into Clean Motion's future roof modules.     Sustainable biocomposite in the electric pod Zbee

    Clean Motion, the manufacturer of the electric pod Zbee, is presenting a biocomposite enhanced pod where the roof-rear body part has been made out of Jute in a research project. Juteborg AB, a jute Design System & Solution provider was the initiator, with the aim to replace glass fiber with the natural fiber of jute. Co-partners in the project are SwereaSICOMP and Ljungby Komposit and the project is partly financed by Vinnova/Lighter.     The Swedish pod Zbee, road legal in South Africa.

    Zbee, Green Scooter 3 Zbee, Green Scooter 2 Zbee, Green Scooter 1 Clean Motion today received information that Zbee received type approval in South Africa. Their customer, Green Scooter, a local entrepreneur-driven company in Johannesburg, has completed a full type approval for the import and sale of Zbee on the South African market. South Africa is a gateway to many of the nearby African countries. The interest in Zbee is extremely high in many countries around the world, where it is seen as the best alternative for sustainable urban transport.
