Clogau amongst the world’s top in-flight jewellery brands
According to the Sky Shopping Report 3Q2012 by Generation Research, Clogau is ranked No. 8, among the worlds top jewellery brands, in terms of global presence on-board the top 50 airlines with the highest sales of luxury goods.
The ranking has been based on weighted distribution in terms of total luxury goods on-board sales on leading airlines. In addition, based on unweighted distribution (the frequency of jewellery listings on-board airlines), Clogau still remains in the top 10.
Clogau’s tremendously successful collaboration with Japan Airlines, the second largest airline in terms of on-board luxury good sales (2010 figures), has propelled the brand into being one of the most successful on-board jewellery brands.
Clogau’s Artemis Couroupaki, New Business Development Manager and overseer of the Japan Airlines account, mentioned: “Japan Airlines and their strategic partner Jalux showed faith to the brand and I am happy that we honoured their trust with exceptional sales, service and quality. In addition to Japan Airlines, Clogau is listed on other leading airlines with outstanding sales of luxury goods, including British Airways, Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, Lufthansa and Virgin Atlantic to name but a few.
Head of Global sales David Butler said ‘This is a great achievement when you consider that only three years ago we had virtually no airline listings at all! It’s a tribute to the hard work of everyone in the Clogau team and I am very proud of them all but there is still work to do to get our ranking even higher in 2013.’
