Clogau Chairman helps raise £1.5 million for charity

Bill Roberts, Chairman and Founder of Clogau, Jewellery Brand of the Year, recently helped towards raising a staggering amount for charity by completing a very unique challenge.

Bill was one of a small group of people invited to abseil down the tallest building in Western Europe, The Shard, to raise money for The Outward Bound Trust.

The once-in-a-lifetime opportunity has so far raised in excess of £1.5 million between all participants, with donations still being accepted.

The amount raised will go towards helping those facing personal and physical challenges.

 ‘It was an absolutely exhilarating experience and I am lucky to have been one of only 40 people in the world invited to take part.

I’m delighted to have helped raise a great amount of money for charity, which will directly benefit the local Aberdovey centre. It’s definitely a story that I look forward to sitting the grandchildren on my knee and telling them.’ Bill Roberts.
