Clogau to open first international store in Beijing as part of international expansion in 2013
2013 is a year of international expansion for Welsh gold jewellery brand Clogau as it looks forward to opening its very first international domestic store in China as well as expanding distribution in Abu Dhabi and extending listings with its established shipping retail partner Princess Cruises.
Clogau boutique, Beijing
The luxury Clogau boutique will open within the world’s largest airport, Beijing Capital International airport, this May. Clogau will be showcasing a collection of 18 carat gold, sterling silver and rose gold products.
Pure Gold Jewellers, Abu Dhabi
Also launching officially in Abu Dhabi International Airport in June this year, in partnership with Pure Gold Jewellers, Clogau will be stocking a selection of exclusively 18 carat gold.
The brands Historical Royal Palaces inspired collections; Kensington and Royal Crown will be showcased in Abu Dhabi. Claire Jones, former official Royal harpist and Clogau ambassador will make an appearance at the airport to also promote Clogau’s popular Heartstrings collection.
Senior Clogau representatives including the Managing Director and Head of International Sales will also appear in June to support the launch. Clogau hopes for further distribution opportunities, with Pure Gold Jewellers as partner, in the Middle East and India.
Princess Cruises
Clogau are adding another two listings with existing shipping partner Princess cruise ships. The first, Sun Princess, launches in Japan with an 18 carat gold and a silver range. The second, The Royal Princess, is a brand new ship and one of the biggest in the World, which launches in Europe in 2013 with an 18 carat gold range and a silver range. On The Royal Princess, Claire Jones will make a number of on-board performances to promote the Heartstrings range.
Clogau’s new store, and retail partners, look forward to showcasing new 2013 collections which all include a touch of rare Welsh gold, the same gold that has been used by British Royalty for over 100 years.
