Miami, FL – July 5, 2011 – Rap artist D.O.E. Boy Philly recently released his mixtape “Hard Body 3.” Presented in association with Coast 2 Coast Mixtape Promotions and hosted by DJ Set, the project is available at http://www.coast2coastmixtapes.com for free download. “Hard Body 3” features D.O.E. Boy Philly on tracks with Eskay, PT, Loose, DS, D.Boy, Dell-P, House Wife, Dana Black, Scorp Da Boy, B Doll, and L. Black. Production is added by Synthesis, Don Cannon, Serious, Epidemic, Jahlil Beats, R-5, R. Smallz, Samad Dawson, and JR Beats.
D.O.E. Boy (Dollars Over Everything) is an amazing up-and-coming artist from the wild streets of Southwest Philadelphia. Born in 1984 to a single mother and raised in a place where, as Frank Lucas said, “either you somebody, or you ain’t nobody,” D.O.E. Boy represents everything the rap game needs. In a recent magazine interview, D.O.E. describes his beginnings as a hip hop artist: "I always loved music, R&B, hip hop, soul, whatever has real feelings in it. I started writing music back when I was just 11 years old… It was right after hearing the song ‘Things Done Changed’ by the late great Biggie Smalls, because I really felt what he was talking about…” D.O.E. Boy kept rapping and telling street tales about the City of Brotherly Love and his hard views on life. A few years later, he collaborated with DJ Krill from Los Angeles and released “Anotha Day, Anotha Dollar” mixtape. This critically acclaimed project moved almost 5000 copies throughout LA, Atlanta, Chicago, Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Delaware.
