Codfarmers ASA (Codfarmers) has received a claim
from the bankruptcy estate of S.a.r.l. Royal
Food Products Import & Export in the amount of
EUR 432,000.Codfarmers ASA (Codfarmers) has received a claim
from the bankruptcy estate of S.a.r.l. Royal
Food Products Import & Export in the amount of
EUR 432,000. Royal Food Products was a customer
of Codfarmers in France. In 2005, Codfarmers
invoiced Royal Food Products an amount of EUR
22,335 for fish sold to Royal Food Products.
This amount is charged as an expense in 2005.
The counterclaim made by Royal Food Products
against Codfarmers is based on alleged breaches
of agreement by Codfarmers in connection with
the termination of the business relationship
between the parties. Codfarmers will dispute the
claim, and Codfarmers is also considering to
pursue the balance due to it from Royal Food
Products.
