CODFARMERS INCREASES ITS CAPACITY WITH 7 NEW LICENCES

With the 4 licences Codfarmers ASA now has been granted in Meløy and the 3 licences granted in Gildeskål in February this year, the company has increased its total number of licences from 19 to 26. This represents a 28 % increase of the company’s total production capacity from 15.180 tonnes (MTB) to 21.030 tonnes (MTB).

‘These are important steps to facilitate the further expansion of the company. Now, the production cluster in Nordfjorden will be fully developed whilst we in Meløy have started the building of our third production cluster for farmed cod in Nordland’ says Øystein Steiro, CEO Codfarmers ASA.
