Coeli Energy Trading AB has managed capital in the Nordic power market since the summer of 2011. The company offers access to the Nordic power market, Nasdaq OMX Commodites, though a Swedish national fund, a Cayman fund, managed accounts as well as through the Deutsche Bank Select platform.

“We have been active in the Nordic power space for many years and have historically been able to generate strong returns to our investors. Unfortunately, we have not been able to deliver the same performance during the last two years and we have decided to make this change in an effort to make the decision making process more effective. The market is alive and well with plentiful of opportunities and I look forward to working hard and being on the right side of the market again said Henrik Wennberg, former CEO and new Senior Portfolio Manager”.

“We have worked together as a team during the last 4 years and while there have been some good times, including a 20 % return of the original investment, for those who have been with us from the start, we don’t feel that the level of performance has met our original expectations. We now feel that this change will create a more effective organization and improve our performance significantly during years to come.” said new CEO Mathias Wennberg.

The third member of the management team, Jukka Virtala, left the company in August.
