Collector AB publishes Interim report for the period January-September 2019

THIRD QUARTER 2019 (COMPARED TO THE THIRD QUARTER OF 2018)

• The loan portfolio increased by 32% to SEK 30,577 million (23,124)

• Total income increased by 21% to SEK 544 million (450)

• The C/I ratio amounted to 41.5% (43.4)

• The credit loss level amounted to 1.4% (1.1)

• Net profit increased by 7% to SEK 164 million (153)

• Return on equity amounted to 16.9% (18.9)

• Earnings per share amounted to SEK 1.60 (1.49)

JANUARY–SEPTEMBER 2019 (COMPARED TO JANUARY–SEPTEMBER 2018)

• The loan portfolio increased by 32% to SEK 30,577 million (23,124)

• Total income increased by 20% to SEK 1,590 million (1,321)

• The C/I ratio amounted to 42.4% (46.8)

• The credit loss level amounted to 1.4% (1.1)

• Net profit increased by 17% to SEK 481 million (412)

• Return on equity amounted to 17.2% (17.2)

• Earnings per share amounted to SEK 4.68 (4.01)


EVENTS AFTER THE END OF THE PERIOD

On 8 October 2019 Collector AB entered into an agreement to divest its shares in Colligent Inkasso AB, the entity operating Collector's Swedish third-party debt collection business, for a cash consideration of SEK 240 million on a cash and debt free basis. The transaction is expected to close during the fourth quarter 2019.
