Agria Pet Insurance has today announced partnership agreements with buying groups St Francis Group and Vetswest. It’s a move that aims to make it easier and more rewarding for practices to support and recommend Agria insurance cover to fit the needs of pet owners.

The move will see practices who are members of the buying groups receive additional rewards for new Agria insurance policies taken up by petowners. Practices that are already working with Agria will also benefit from the aggregate activity of buying group members.

Simon Wheeler, Managing Director of Agria said, “We’re very excited about the opportunity this offers practices to benefit from the strength of their influence with customers whether working as an Agria appointed representative or within one of Agria’s ‘lighter touch’ remits. Knowing a pet has sufficient cover is not just reassuring for pet owners but also to the veterinary professionals responsible for delivering the highest levels of care.”

He continued, “St Francis Group and Vetswest are both great fits with our organisation because we have a similar ethos. We all work hard to understand what vet practices need and to deliver the tools that help them run their businesses more effectively.”

Alan White speaking on behalf of St Francis Group confirms the agreement is good news for practices, “As a result of our discussions with Agria we’ve been able to identify another income stream for our member practices. We’re committed to delivering much more than just value for money when it comes to product purchases and this is a great example of how we use our know-how to help owners and managers build more profitable practices.”
