Event: Presentation of a Queens Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category by HM Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, The Countess of Verulam
On Monday 19thSeptember, British company Lintbells, maker of high quality natural pet supplements, will be presented with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category. The award will be presented at the company’s offices at Weston, near Stevenage in Herts by HM Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, The Countess of Verulam.
The event will include a tour of Lintbell’s head office and warehouse, followed by a cream tea. There will also be a demonstration by the amazing Knebworth Twisters Flyball Team who are sponsored by Lintbells. In flyball, dogs race against each other over a line of hurdles to a box that the dog triggers to release a tennis-ball which has to be caught and returned to their handlers, providing a fantastic visual spectacle.
There will then be a short talk from company co-founders John Davies and John Howie, followed by formal presentation of the award.
The company, which was established in 2006, is known for its commitment to improve the lives of dogs, cats and horses. Its health enhancing supplements are given to over 150,000 dogs in the UK alone, including this year’s Crufts Best in Show.
Please let us know if your publication is interested in attending the event or receiving information after the event. Both Lintbells co-founders will be available for interview.
