Compass Point tackles the UK public sector challenges with technology

The winter edition of Microsoft's Touch Magazine 2011 features a cover page interview with Compass Point Business Services' Managing Director, Stephen Bayliffe.

The cover story showcases how a Microsoft solution - with AX2012 and Dynamics CRM - is at the heart of a transformation of public sector support services.

With mounting pressure to reduce costs Compass Point Business Services has implemented a range of technologies from Microsoft and Hitachi Consulting that will help to deliver incredible savings which are forecast to be £30m over 10 years.

Stephen Bayliffe, MD told the magazine: " We wanted to work with a technology partner that understood our needs and could effectively deliver and support the solution. We wanted the most effective, richly featured technology for the business. We were more interested in newer products from leading providers with a strong vision."
